About Somervell County Housing Authority

The Somervell County Section 8 Office was placed under the management of Waco Housing Authority January 1, 2006

This office assists low income families with rental assistance in Glen Rose, Texas. Currently, there are 33 families receiving Section 8 rental assistance.

Applications are taken at the office once a week on Monday through Thursday 8:00 - 5:00 pm.

The Somervell office is an extension of the Waco Housing Authority and Affiliates under the direction of President / CEO Gary T. Moore.
